The value for money at Cohort was great, and the room itself was comfortable and well-designed. The location was perfect, close to the town and the main beaches, and the staff treated us with exceptional care and friendliness.
The breakfast option could have been improved by extending the kitchen and lounge closing times, allowing guests to access food and drinks later at night.

We had a great stay at Cohort in St Ives. The friendly reception staff showed amazing kindness, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hostel was clean and had a funky vibe, and the selection of bathrooms was impressive. The private beds with curtains and walls were a nice touch, and the kitchen facilities and outdoor seating area were great. Despite a few minor inconveniences mentioned in the reviews, such as limited kitchen and lounge hours, and slightly complex shower controls, our overall experience was fantastic. The hostel's cleanliness, spaciousness, and proximity to transportation, town center, and beaches were major highlights. Cohort definitely exceeded our expectations. we highly recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at a lovely hostel in St Ives and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was sociable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the free coffee in the mornings and the fact that reception was staffed all day. The hostel was also conveniently located close to the city center, making it easy to explore the area. I had a great time during my stay.
Despite these issues, I still feel that the hostel is a nice place with a great atmosphere. I would recommend it to others, but with a caveat for families with young children.

I recently stayed at a hostel in St Ives and it was such a great find! The location couldn't have been better, right in the center of town and within walking distance to the beach and all the attractions. The prices were incredibly low, and I loved the fact that they had a large common room where you could relax, read, or catch up on social media. The hostel also had a well-equipped kitchen, which was great for those who wanted to cook their own meals. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff who made my stay even more enjoyable.
While the hostel was overall fantastic, there were a couple of downsides. the sleeping spaces were quite compact, which might be a bit uncomfortable for some people.

The hostel had great facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms. the courtyard was a lovely place to relax, even in bad weather, and meet new people.
Some parts of the hostel were not easily accessible for people with mobility issues, such as steep stairs and lack of wheelchair accessibility. It would have been helpful to have more information about this beforehand.

The hostel had a cool and fun design with large and welcoming common areas. The USB ports everywhere were a great convenience, and the beds with curtains provided privacy. The location was perfect as everything was within reach. I also enjoyed the affordable price and the diverse mix of guests.
The noise from the street during weekends could be a bit bothersome, especially if your room is located at the front. Additionally, parking in the area was a challenge, although there were pay and display long-term parking options nearby.
